Tsunenobu was the son of Naonobu Kanō. On his father’s death Tsunenobu became a pupil of his uncle Tan’yū Kanō. Tsunenobu designed a large number of flower and (or)bird paintings in the Kanō style and forty examples are shown here. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
